Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. Your PDFs are combined by code running inside your browser, so they're never uploaded to us or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
You can merge up to 50 files at once, up to 250 MB each. The practical limit depends on your device's memory — a computer handles much larger jobs than an older phone.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, with no recompression, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. If a PDF needs a password to open, unlock it first and then merge it. We'll flag protected files as soon as you add them.
Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
All page content, including text, images and comments, is preserved. Bookmarks and fillable form fields aren't carried over yet.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in any modern mobile or desktop browser, and you can install it as an app from your browser menu for quick offline access.
